Kathleen Legassick was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario and is a graduate of the Ryerson Performance Dance Program (2014). She has worked with Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie (2013), Chartier Danse (2014), Dance Theatre David Earle (2015), ProArteDanza (2015) and has performed as a guest artist with the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre (2015). Most recently, Kathleen worked with Wonder Screen Inc as a dancer for the BMO Pride Art Installation at the First Canadian Place in downtown Toronto (2016). She has worked closely with many established choreographers including; Bill Coleman, Marie-Josée Chartier, David Earle, Roberto Campanella, Robert Glumbek, Ryan Lee, Hannah Kiel, Colin Connor and Jeff Dimitriou. Kathleen has also participated in the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Summer Intensive Program (2011) and ProArteDanza’s Summer Intensive Program (2013). This year she will be participating in the Peggy Baker Intensive in August (2016).
